About us
At the Arctic Circle, in the north of Sweden, you will find our small ceramics studio – a place where time slows down and creativity can unfold.
We are Sandra and Stephan, two master craftsmen united by a shared passion for ceramics, form and design. With The North Cup 66° Krukmakeri, we have created a space where traditional craftsmanship meets personal experience.
A place that feels like home
The North Cup was born from a deeply personal vision. From a early age, there was a longing for a place that feels calm, warm and safe- a home in nature, away from noise, a place where you can simply be.
Our Studio
-
A place filled with warmth and character
Our ceramic studio is located in a lovingly renovated traditional Swedish log house at the end of a small village in northern Sweden, near the Arctic Circle.
Surrounded by nature and silence, we have created a place where calm, creativity and a sense of home come together. Large windows fill the studio with natural light and open up to views of the Nordic landscape. During the winter months, a wood- burning stove adds warmth and a particularly cozy atmosphere.
From the moment you step inside, you can feel that this is a place where you are welcome to arrive, slow down and feel at ease.
-
Everything you need to create
Our studio is fully equipped with everything you need for you creative journey.
You will have access to a professional pottery wheel, spacious workbenches and a ceramic kiln. Whether you are working with clay for the first time or already have experience, we guide you step by step and provide a relaxed environment where you can focus entirely on your ideas.
This is a place to explore, experiment and create something truly unique with your own hands.

A creative experience to remember
A visit to The North Cup is more than a pottery course. It is an invitation to slow down, become creative and immerse yourself fully to the process.
In a small and personal setting, we take time for every participant. With warmth, care and professional expertise, we guide you from the first touch of clay to the finished peace.
You will take home not only your own handmade ceramics, but also a memorable experience at the Arctic Circle.
This atmosphere is reflected in our ceramics:
Our ceramics are defined by clean shapes, calm lines and a sense of warmth and timelessness. Each piece is handmade with care and reflects our unique design language – inspired by the calm, the colors and the vast landscapes of the North.
Our Vision
Through our courses, we want to share this feeling. We invite people to explore their creativity, work with their hands and bring their own ideas to life. Whether at the pottery wheel, through hand-building or painting, the focus is always on the individual creative journey. Our vision is to connect craftsmanship, art and human connection – creating a place that inspires, slows down time and leaves a lasting impression.
